SurTales Studio is a place where children learn to express themselves through music and discover the world of sounds, rhythms and harmonies. Our goal is to help every child discover their creative potential and love music with all their soul.
SurTales Studio was born out of a great love for music and a desire to share this love with children. Our studio was founded in Mumbai, a city where traditional Indian music meets modern rhythms and styles. The founders of the studio are a group of professional musicians and teachers, each of whom has gone through their own unique musical path. The idea of creating the studio arose from the desire to combine the rich musical heritage of India with modern teaching methods in order to inspire a new generation to creatively express themselves through music.
Our inspiration was the belief that every child, regardless of their initial abilities, has their own musical voice that needs to be revealed. We understood that it is important not only to teach children technique or theory, but to create a space for them where they can develop as individuals, feel the freedom of creativity and express their emotions through music. This has become the main principle of our work - to educate not just musicians, but creative and self-confident people.
When SurTales first started, we had a small group of students and a big dream. We put our hearts into every lesson, creating a friendly and creative atmosphere where children could learn at their own pace. Over time, the number of students began to grow, and we realized that our approach to teaching found a response in the hearts of children and their parents.
Today, our studio is not just a music studio, it is a real community of creative children and their families. We are proud that our students not only learn to sing and play musical instruments, but also gain self-confidence, develop creative thinking and learn to work in a team.
Our journey continues, and we are looking forward to the opportunity to bring music into the lives of even more children. At SurTales, every note becomes part of a new story that we write together with our students.
We teach children to sing not only beautifully, but also correctly! In the SurTales studio, your children will learn how to develop their voice, learn to control their breathing and will be able to work with various musical genres. From classical Indian vocals to modern pop melodies - we will select a program for each child.
Indian classics or modern music? In our studio, children can learn to play various instruments: piano, guitar, flute or tabla. Experienced teachers will help your child master the playing technique, from basic notes to complex compositions.
In addition to practical skills, we also teach the basics of music theory. Understanding the structure of music will help children better navigate rhythms, chords and melodies, which will deepen their love for music and develop their intellectual abilities.
We offer both individual and group lessons. For those who prefer personal attention and want to move at their own pace, we select individual courses. Group lessons develop a sense of teamwork, friendship and collective creativity.
At the SurTales studio, we regularly hold master classes and workshops with famous musicians and vocalists. These events help children immerse themselves in the musical atmosphere, learn more about different styles and directions, and get inspired by the experience of professionals. Participation in such classes helps to expand musical horizons and develop creative skills.
We believe that learning music should be accompanied by practical performances. Regular concerts and music shows allow children to demonstrate their achievements, gain self-confidence and learn to speak in front of an audience.
Every child is unique, and their creative path deserves special attention. Our studio creates an atmosphere where children can freely express themselves through music, without the fear of making a mistake or being judged. We encourage experimenting with voice, rhythms and instruments, trying new styles and approaches to music.
Support and motivation: Our teachers help children believe in themselves, always supporting them at every stage of their learning. We value the success of each child and encourage their desire to develop.
Individuality in learning: We understand that each child learns at their own pace and prefers their own methods. In our studio, there are no strict frameworks - the program of classes is adapted to the interests, abilities and hobbies of the student. This allows children to express themselves naturally and enjoy the process.
Space for experimentation: We encourage children to try new musical genres and techniques. In our studio, they can feel comfortable exploring different musical forms, which develops not only their skills but also their creative thinking.
Openness and friendliness: Our studio has a friendly and open atmosphere where children learn together, exchange ideas and create joint projects. We organize group sessions where children can inspire each other and develop communication skills through music.
Creative events: We regularly hold competitions, concerts and themed music events where children can demonstrate their achievements by performing in front of friends and family. This not only develops artistry, but also helps the child feel part of a large musical community.
Our approach helps children discover their creative abilities and turn music lessons into an exciting adventure where every note opens up new horizons.

Piano and Music Theory Teacher
Each of our teachers has a solid musical background and many years of experience working with children. They have been trained in leading music institutes and regularly improve their skills to stay up to date with new teaching methods and musical trends. Some of our teachers themselves perform on stages in Mumbai and beyond, which allows them to share with students real knowledge of the world of music and performing arts.
Our teachers understand that each child is unique and requires special attention. They closely monitor the progress of students, select individual programs and teaching methods that match the interests and pace of development of each child. This helps children develop at a comfortable pace for them, without pressure, but with constant motivation for new achievements.
SurTales Studio teachers love their work and are happy to pass on this energy to children. They make every lesson fun and creative. Instead of dry study of theory and technique, teachers create a fun and supportive atmosphere where music becomes an exciting game and a journey into the world of sounds. They inspire children to explore new musical directions, help them believe in themselves and develop not only technical skills but also a love for art.
Our teachers understand that learning music is not just learning notes and techniques, but also emotionally supporting children along the way. We pay special attention to creating a friendly and comfortable environment where the child feels confident. Teachers are always ready to help, explain difficult moments and praise for every achievement, even the smallest.
As active musicians, our teachers serve as excellent role models. Their own successes and passion for music inspire children to dream big and strive for excellence. Teachers not only share knowledge, but also show that music is an exciting and limitless field for self-expression.
Each lesson with our teachers is a step forward in the child's musical development, as well as an unforgettable time filled with creativity and joy. At SurTales, we are confident that with the right mentors, every child can discover their musical potential and achieve great success!
We understand that all children are unique: each with their own interests, learning pace and musical preferences. To ensure the best results and make the learning process fun, we develop personalized programs that fully meet the needs and goals of each student.
During the first lessons, we carefully assess the child's musical abilities - their level of training, musical ear, rhythmic sense and familiarity with instruments or vocals. This helps us understand at what level it is best to start training.
We always try to find out what styles of music attract a child the most. Someone may be into Indian classical music, while another prefers modern pop or rock. Understanding musical preferences helps us adapt the repertoire and tasks so that the child does what he or she is really interested in.
We understand that every child learns differently. Some people grasp new concepts quickly, while others need more time to master them. At SurTales, we create curriculum that matches the student’s pace, without overwhelming them or holding them back.
Our teachers use a variety of teaching methods that are right for your child. For example, if your child is a visual learner, we will use more visual aids and videos. If they learn best through practice, lessons will focus on active exercises. This helps make learning effective and fun.
We constantly monitor the progress of our students and are ready to adjust the program as they develop. If a child masters the material faster, we can make the tasks more difficult, add new elements, or change the direction. If difficulties arise, teachers can spend more time on difficult topics to help the student feel confident.
Some children dream of performing on stage, participating in competitions, or becoming professional musicians, while others just want to learn to play for fun. We take these goals into account when creating a program so that the child can achieve what he or she really wants without unnecessary stress.
SurTales Studio strives to ensure that every lesson brings joy and results. We create an environment where a child can be themselves, reveal their talent and move forward in their musical path, step by step.
Learning music is not just about mastering notes and techniques, but also a powerful tool for developing creative skills such as fantasy, imagination and creative thinking. Music awakens the inner artist in children, helps them see the world wider and brighter, and our classes are aimed at revealing their creative potential in all aspects.
Music is a universal language that helps express feelings and emotions, even if the child does not yet know how to do it in words. During classes, children learn to convey their inner experiences through melodies and rhythms. For example, during vocal lessons, they can perform a song filled with different emotions, from joy to sadness, which helps them better understand and express their feelings. This develops emotional intelligence and teaches them to find creative ways to express themselves.
We encourage children to experiment with musical styles and forms. For example, during classes, they can try to compose their own melody or rhythmic combination, which helps develop their imagination and fantasy. Improvisation lessons are especially important for creative development, as the child learns to instantly come up with new musical ideas and express themselves through music without fear of making mistakes.
Group music lessons and joint performances help children develop teamwork skills and be inspired by the ideas of their peers. Performing music together, creating ensembles or choirs teaches them to find harmony and rhythm not only in music but also in communication. This creates an atmosphere of mutual inspiration, where children learn to see different perspectives and approaches to creativity.
In our studio, we sometimes integrate elements of other arts, such as drawing, dramatization or even dance, to enrich music lessons. For example, when learning new compositions, we can ask children to visualize music through drawing or create a small stage performance. This helps children develop associative thinking, creative perception and a sense of art as a whole.
We support students in creating their own musical works. The process of composing music develops the imagination as children create something new based on their emotions, ideas and experiences. They learn to combine notes, rhythms and melodies to create a unique musical story, which also helps them better understand the structure and harmony of music.
Experiencing different musical styles, eras and cultures broadens children's horizons and helps them understand art in a deeper way. We study how music has been connected to history, culture and art throughout time and teach children to see the beauty in the diversity of musical genres. This develops a love for art in general and helps children understand it as a part of life.
At SurTales, we encourage children to create their own creative projects. This could be a mini-concert where children choose the repertoire themselves, or creating a musical play. Such projects give children the opportunity to show their initiative, creativity and develop skills in planning and implementing ideas.
At SurTales we create the conditions for every child to not only become a technically competent musician, but also to develop their creativity, learn to think more broadly and truly love art.
